Description of tasks of Meteorological Equipment Engineering Department

1- Needs assessment, announcing the need and following up the supply of equipment of all kinds of traditional and automatic meteorological stations of the province (airport, road, synoptic, climatology, rain gauge, pollution ...)

2- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of devices and equipment of meteorological stations in the province

3- Repair and calibration of devices and equipment of meteorological stations in the province

4- Execution of notification instructions in connection with the correct use of meteorological devices and the method of installation and operation and related technical cases

5- Periodic technical inspection of meteorological stations and ensuring the correct operation of meteorological equipment and devices P Coordinating with the headquarters to establish repair and maintenance workshops and calibration in provincial centers
